The St. Anthony Park Elementary Talent Show is an annual event sponsored by SAPSA. All of our students are encouraged to participate in this fun, community-building event! Read on for answers to frequently asked questions or click on the contact us link for more specific help. We hope to see YOU on stage this spring!
All students interested in performing in the talent show must try out at the in-school auditions- this is a fun, non-competitive process, unless you are singing in the Big Group Song only.
Auditions will be held during school
Online registration and e-permission. This should be completed with a parent.
Audition dates will be posted on the talent show website.*
Groups will audition together even if they are in different classes.
Think carefully about song choices! Unique song choices can help your act to stand out.
*if your student is not available on his/her designated day, click on the Contact Us link to make arrangements

What can I do?
The possibilities are endless... here's what we DON'T allow:
-
lip synching
-
singing along to a pre-recorded vocal track (only instrumental music is allowed)
-
inappropriate themes or language (i.e. violence, swearing)
-
more than one appearance in the show (i.e. group performance AND individual performance.
-
skits- sorry, but lack of sound amplification makes it too hard for the audience to hear. Consider jokes, poems, or an interpretive dance!
-
Students can submit artwork to hang in the hall outside of the auditorium if they are not performing in the talent show. Artwork must be student-created! Participants must come at 5:30 p.m. to hang their work and can take it home at the end of the show.
-
